POLICY CANCELLATION NOTICE

This is a reminder that Cameron Mutual Insurance Company was put into liquidation effective December 1, 2023. As a result, all Cameron Mutual policies will terminate by no later than December 31, 2023. Please work with your insureds to make sure that they secure coverage with another carrier as soon as possible.

Processing of 12/31/23 terminations will begin the week of December 18, 2023. If coverage is replaced prior to 12/31/23, please submit a signed request to cancel the policy.

Notice - Funding Sources For Premium Payments

Credit/debit cards can no longer be used as a funding source for premium payments. Insureds can make check payments on the CMIC public website, through your agency office, or by calling the Home Office.

Check payments with payment slips can be mailed to PO Box 806242, Kansas City, MO 64180-6242 or to CMIC, PO Box 768, Cameron MO 64429. Producers can continue to make agency sweep payments at this time.

Notice of Rehabilitation

Cameron Mutual Insurance Company and Cameron National Insurance Company On August 7, 2023, Cameron Mutual Insurance Company (“Cameron Mutual”) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Cameron National Insurance Company (“National”), were placed in rehabilitation by the Circuit Court of Cole County, Missouri (the “Court”). The Court appointed Chlora Lindley-Myers, Director of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (“DCI Director”), and her successors in office, as the rehabilitator for both companies. Cameron Mutual consented to the rehabilitation for both companies. A copy of the Order of Rehabilitation can be found by clicking below. The Order, and all subsequent proceedings concerning Cameron Mutual and Cameron National, will be conducted in accordance with §§ 375.1150 to 375.1246, RSMo.
